Editorial standards

Clear authorship. Clear limits.

Editorial standards, source conventions, scope boundaries, and corrections process for Debt Catalyst resources.

Last updated: October 8, 2026. These standards describe the public Debt Catalyst website. They do not establish legal, compliance, or product-performance claims.

Authorship and scope

Debt Catalyst resources identify Jeffery Hartman, CVO as their organizational author. The resources explain Debt Catalyst’s portfolio-intelligence frameworks and strategy perspectives for accounts-receivable teams.

Evidence convention

“Debt Catalyst perspective” and “framework” identify first-party educational material. When a resource makes a factual, regulatory, market, or research claim that needs outside support, the page should name a relevant source. If no source is listed, readers should not treat the resource as independent research or a statement of law.

Claim boundaries

Resources are written for portfolio-level review. They do not provide consumer reports, legal advice, consumer eligibility, credit, payment-term, or individual account decisions; determine ownership or enforceability; or guarantee pricing, recoveries, or transaction outcomes.

Updates and corrections

To report a factual issue, outdated statement, or broken source link, email jeff@debtcatalyst.io with the page URL, the statement at issue, and supporting detail. Debt Catalyst will review the report and correct, clarify, or annotate verified public errors where appropriate.

Methodology

For the public framework, taxonomy, and evidence limits, read the Debt Catalyst methodology and evidence boundaries.
