Intended use
Debt Catalyst organizes portfolio, consumer-behavior, and recovery context for teams reviewing valuation, segmentation, account-scoring, and recovery-strategy questions across accounts receivable. The framework is designed to support human review in existing business workflows.
Public Debt Quality Index taxonomy
The 12 named layers displayed in the Debt Quality Index panel are the current public explanatory taxonomy. Earlier site wording that referred to “13 weighted signals” is retired because it did not identify a separately documented public standard.
The public taxonomy explains the types of context presented for review. It does not establish a universal model, claim that each layer is available in every use case, or show that any one layer predicts or causes a result.
Evidence, assumptions, and limits
- Debt Catalyst resources are first-party educational frameworks unless a page visibly cites an external source.
- Portfolio-level observations should be read with the stated scope, data limitations, timing, definitions, and decision context.
- Debt Catalyst does not publish consumer-level findings through this site.
- Pages do not provide legal advice, consumer reports, credit or eligibility decisions, individual account instructions, ownership or enforceability determinations, or guaranteed results.
Review and governance
Teams retain responsibility for their own policies, governance, professional review, source-data diligence, and decisions. Debt Catalyst is not a substitute for legal, compliance, credit, or transaction review.
Versioning and corrections
